In-Home Urgent Care You Can Trust

Conciurgent Care provides high-quality, compassionate urgent medical care in the comfort of your home, office, or venue throughout Chicago and surrounding suburbs.

What Is In-Home Urgent Care?

In-home urgent care fills the gap between primary care (routine care), traditional urgent care clinics, and emergency departments. It is ideal for conditions that need prompt medical attention but do not require hospital-level care.

Conciurgent Care enhances—not replaces—your relationship with your primary care physician or pediatrician, and we encourage coordinated follow-up when appropriate.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Conciurgent Care?

Conciurgent Care is an in-home urgent care service that provides high-quality medical care for urgent but not life-threatening conditions in the comfort of your home, office, or venue. We serve patients throughout Chicago and surrounding suburbs.

When should I use Conciurgent Care?

Conciurgent Care is ideal for conditions that need prompt attention but do not require emergency care, including cuts and minor burns, sprains and minor fractures, colds, coughs, sore throat, respiratory illnesses, skin infections, dehydration, nausea, and more.

When should I go to the emergency department instead?

Call 911 or go to the ER for chest pain, severe shortness of breath, stroke symptoms, loss of consciousness, uncontrolled bleeding, severe head injuries, major trauma, or any condition that feels life-threatening.

Do you replace my primary care doctor?

No. Conciurgent Care enhances and supports primary care, not replaces it. We encourage coordination with your primary care physician or pediatrician and provide clear guidance on follow-up.

Who provides care at Conciurgent Care?

Our team includes emergency medicine-trained physicians, advanced practice providers (PAs and NPs), and experienced registered nurses. We prioritize clinical excellence, compassion, and patient trust.

Do you offer COVID, flu, and strep testing at home?

Yes. We offer PCR COVID-19 testing and PCR Flu A/B testing with results in approximately 45 minutes. We also offer molecular strep testing with results in approximately 30 minutes, which is as accurate as a traditional throat culture.

How accurate are your strep tests?

Our molecular strep test is highly sensitive and specific—considered equivalent to a traditional throat culture for definitive diagnosis—but with results in about 30 minutes instead of days.

Do you provide IV fluids at home?

Yes. We offer at-home IV hydration and IV medications for dehydration, nausea, vomiting, morning sickness, and previously diagnosed migraines. IV services may be provided by experienced RNs or APPs with appropriate oversight.

What are Service Level Agreements (SLAs)?

Conciurgent Care partners with select medical practices through SLAs to provide at-home services for their patients. Your doctor can order services directly, with results flowing back to them as if you were seen in their office.

I have a concierge primary care doctor. How does that work?

If your concierge doctor partners with Conciurgent Care, they remain your provider and can order services directly. You receive discounted rates because no Conci provider visit is needed. Care is delivered, and all results flow back to your physician.

Why do families choose Conciurgent Care?
